Pictures of Enzo's Memorial Service

On October 6, 2010, 6-month old Enzo was in a car accident with his parents and older brother and sister. Almost 48 hours later, he went home to be with Jesus. This blog is run by his family members and is our way of sharing our grief and hope with everyone who cares to visit. We rejoice in knowing that one day we will be reunited with Enzo in eternity! If you would like to contact us, you can email us at InMemoryofEnzo@gmail.com (not case-sensitive).

  8. I know you are probably a little overwhelmed right now - but this has touched my heart greatly. My kids drove past the accident scene last night with their grandfather and couldnt stop talking about how badly the car was smashed - this morning when I read about little Enzo I told my kids that he was the one hurt in that awful accident - we all bowed our heads and prayed for him. I have been continually praying for him throughout today.

The reason I wanted to post something was to ask if it would help the family to have dinners brought to them. I feel God laid this on my heart and I just wanted to ask. I live here in bremerton and I can get together several women from our church to prepare meals for the family. Im going to give you my email, and please email me if you think dinners would help. I know they have 2 little ones still and sometimes just not worrying about cooking is a big help. If you guys need ANYTHING please dont hesitate to ask, this is a difficult time right now and I am here to help.

  10. I just wanted to let you know that I have started a prayer chain with all my friends that are prayer warriors so there are many praying for this little boy and the other family as well. I personally know this family and they are praying without ceasing for this little boy as well. It is awful what has happened but our Lord and Savior is bigger than these circumstances and I know He will not waste this pain.

  11. Do not be discouraged by his unchanging condition. My very dear friend had a son that was badly injured in an accident last year. He had his brain exposed in order to allow it to swell outside of his head for several weeks. They were constantly told that he couldn't breathe on his own and there was nothing more that could be done. She didn't give up hope, and a year later her son is walking on his own, talking, and getting back to a normal life. I truly hope that this kind of miracle happens to your nephew. God is with him and with you!

  13. My heart and thoughts go out to the Williams and Babcocks. Kaitlin and I were best friends in elementary school, though we haven't kept in close contact- please let her know I am thinking about her and her family.

Thank you for keeping us updated.

  22. -After spending a long, (one that is cherished),day at the hospital and then spending time with questioning toddler's I felt depleted of energy and conversation.
I put the kids to bed and sat down at the computer to take a break and to catch up.

I was able to read this blog for the first time.

I don't feel depleted any longer. I feel uplifted.

Thank you Auntie Melissa for starting this blog. It gives me a way to keep my friends and family updated, so I can focus on other matters.

Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you!

Thank you to the nurse and gentleman that performed CPR and held my grandson's head!
It has been weighing on my son's mind that he didn't even know the names of the people that performed CPR. (the family knew it wasn't the medics, as they hadn't responded yet).

During this time, my son and daughter in law have continually have been astounded and comforted by the kindness and love from people they don't know personally.

Our family thanks each and every one of you,and is extremely grateful for your comforting words, acts of kindness, love and support.
