Pictures of Enzo's Memorial Service
On October 6, 2010, 6-month old Enzo was in a car accident with his parents and older brother and sister. Almost 48 hours later, he went home to be with Jesus. This blog is run by his family members and is our way of sharing our grief and hope with everyone who cares to visit. We rejoice in knowing that one day we will be reunited with Enzo in eternity! If you would like to contact us, you can email us at InMemoryofEnzo@gmail.com (not case-sensitive).

Not to minimize Enzo but we have a grandson who was born with heart conditions/defects and had open heart surgery 1 week after his birth. ReplyDeleteGod can do all things, He has cleansed lepers, raised cripples and allowed them to walk, gave the blind sight, and raised people from death so surely He can overcome this horrible situation Enzo is in. I pray that your family is drawn close to Jesus and know that through Christ all things are possible. Pray fervently and relentlessly and know that God is by your side. He will NEVER LEAVE YOU. He is good. I will continue to pray all day and all night. My heart goes out to Ulysses and the rest of the family.
ReplyDeleteFrom Denise's husband Rich
ReplyDeleteI witness the accident last night first hand and pulled over to assist. When I arrived on the scene, Kate had the older siblings out of the car, while dad was in the driver's seat holding baby Zo. While I checked on Kate and the older children, I turned my attention to baby Zo. By this time a woman had convinced the dad to let her take baby Zo and after noticing he wasn't breathing or had a pulse, started CPR. I was holding baby Zo's head in my hands and checking for a pulse while this woman continue CPR. I know the reports state the paramedics revived him, but it was this woman. I watched this miracle right in front of my eyes. We got a pulse and baby Zo started breathing on his own minutes before the paramedics showed up. I know God delivered this baby back to his family last night and He is with baby Zo now. I haven't been able to get the incident out of my mind all night long and appreciate these updates. I am, with my family, praying for baby Zo's full recovery.
Praying for you....

ReplyDeleteTo Denise's husband, thank you and this mystery woman for being such good Samaritans. Your effort has clearly made a difference in this baby's life.
I am a nurse, I did what nurses do every day. I only hope and pray that it was enough.

ReplyDeleteBlessings on you both for being there, and willing to do what many others would fail to...for many different reasons. Your courage and empathy are precious, and will be cherished by this family (and friends) forever.
I'm praying for your family. I was leaving Fred Meyer shortly after the accident happened. Many people were there helping and I had my 2-yr-old in the car, so I stayed in the parking lot and prayed. It was an unusual set of circumstances that brought me to Fred Meyer & I believe it was God calling me to pray for your family. As a mom, my heart breaks for what you are all going through. God keeps reassuring me that He is in control, He has little Enzo in His hands & no situation is beyond His control. I pray that you all can feel His love and care & that His plan is for a full recovery!
