Pictures of Enzo's Memorial Service

On October 6, 2010, 6-month old Enzo was in a car accident with his parents and older brother and sister. Almost 48 hours later, he went home to be with Jesus. This blog is run by his family members and is our way of sharing our grief and hope with everyone who cares to visit. We rejoice in knowing that one day we will be reunited with Enzo in eternity! If you would like to contact us, you can email us at (not case-sensitive).

Psalm 34:18 "The Lord is close to the broken hearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit."

No, there has been no change in Enzo's condition yet. But the title of this post was born out of the realization this morning that no matter what, we have HOPE. Our hope is not in Enzo's condition improving - though that is what we are praying for. Our hope is not in the lives of those around us. The only SURE thing we have in this life to place our hope in - the one thing that will NEVER change - is the hope found in Jesus Christ and His unfailing love, His salvation and His promises. The world could crumble around us and yet this is the one thing that can never be taken from us.

Isaiah 41:10 "So do not fear, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."

We don't know why God is allowing this suffering, but He is GOOD and Enzo is in no better hands than that of His creator.

  1. Ps 38 :19
    A righteous man may have many troubles,
    but the LORD delivers him from them all;

    Ps 38 :20
    HE protects all his bones,
    not one of them will be broken

  2. I am continuing to pray for Zo, and you are very right. The Lord IS good. His way's are much higher than our ways and I pray that the Lord will use this in some way for HIS Glory! It is a true encouragement to me to see the Praise of the Lord through this trial!

  3. I will keep Enzo and the family in my prayers. There is no understanding when things like this happen, so you just have to keep praying. I am so sorry for the pain all of you are going through.

  4. Many are praying for your family. Thank you for taking the time to post updates. But more than anything, thank you for sharing the love of God with others. It is a true testimony!! I know many from our church are praying for your entire family, and links to this blog are circulating facebook and other sites. God is good!!

  5. My Prayers Go Out To The Family....& Most Def To Zo....God Is Good & Works In All types Of Ways....He Shall Pull Though!

  6. This my daughter's favorite verse. Two years ago she backed over and accidentally killed her 14 month old baby sister/my daughter. She has clung to this verse ever since. She is living proof of it's truth. God WILL be with Enzo and his WHOLE family during this darkest times of that you can count on. Keep your eyes open the whole time and watch and see. We will be praying!!
