Pictures of Enzo's Memorial Service

On October 6, 2010, 6-month old Enzo was in a car accident with his parents and older brother and sister. Almost 48 hours later, he went home to be with Jesus. This blog is run by his family members and is our way of sharing our grief and hope with everyone who cares to visit. We rejoice in knowing that one day we will be reunited with Enzo in eternity! If you would like to contact us, you can email us at InMemoryofEnzo@gmail.com (not case-sensitive).

Fundraiser this weekend - no updates til Friday

Hello dear friends - what an INCREDIBLE Memorial Service we had today for our sweet Enzo! I plan to write all about it and share on here, but will be on the road heading home for a few days and will be unable to post. I promise to have something real soon. I told many people today at the service that I will keep this blog going forever, as long as people still read it. I plan to advertise fundraising and support efforts, make needs known, slowly begin posting pictures of the last week, and write updates for the Williams family and how they are holding up.

Just one tidbit before I go - there will be a car wash fundraiser this coming Saturday at the Chevron on Wheaton Way (next to the Jack In The Box) at 10:00 a.m. Any others I should know about, don't hesitate to let me know and I will advertise them on this blog.

Many people said today that in 6 months, Zo has touched and changed more lives than most people do in a lifetime. I am so grateful for this venue to communicate. Don't be shy to post comments - we read them ALL!

Grace and Peace,
Auntie Melissa

  2. Melissa,
Thank you so much for taking so much time and energy to keep this blog updated. I work at the same place as Kaitlyn. I was unable to attend the memorial because I had to work. There was a flyer at our time clock saying that there was a fundraiser at a place I think is called DJ's, across from the Albertsons on Wheaton Way and Sheridon Rd., on Friday, Oct 15, from 5:00-9:00 pm 60% from this buffet will go to the Williams family. The cost is $11.99 for adults and $6.99 for children under 12. Have a safe trip home. Nora

  3. I do not know the family but I have been following all the articles and blogs, and reading all the comments. I feel close to this family. For some reason I really felt like I needed to go to the service. I did not go because I didn't want to go alone. Driving by the church at 2pm yesterday, the parking lot was still full. At that time I really regretted not going because I know there were a lot of people that went who do not know the family. Your family will be in my thoughts for a long time and I will keep following this blog as long as it was here. I hope you all continue to stay strong and be at peace about what has happened. You seem like such an amazing family!

  4. I have been following this story and all of your blogs. I as well do not know the family personally and I also live in Colorado but I am from Bremerton. I first heard about this story on facebook because I subscribe to the Kitsap Sun so they send articles on there. When I read about this story my heart dropped because I also have a 6 month old boy. I don't know what I would do if I were in your guys' shoes. I admire how well everyone has been holding up. As long as you keep posting blogs on here I will continue to read them and follow. Continue to stay strong and know that little Zo is out of pain and in a better place now. :)

  5. I have been and will continue to pray for your entire family. Bremerton is still home to me, even though we are a military family now and have lived out of state for fifteen years. My family still lives in the area and was driving by right after the accident. They told me about it and we have all been following the story here on the blog as well as the Kitsap Sun articles.

We are so incredibly sorry for your loss, but so touched by your unwavering faith that you are sharing with this entire community. What a blessing during such a time of sorrow, to trust in our Lord completely, and know that He has precious Enzo in His loving arms now and that you will all see him again one day. You have touched and inspired so many and shown what is really is to have the kind of peace and grace that only our God can give. God bless you and your entire family, and know that you have all touched so many in states across the US.

On a side note, I just discovered that sweet baby Enzo's grandma, Terri Babcock, was the wedding coordinator at my wedding at PBF 15 years ago. She was a wonderful lady that added such a warm and personal touch to our wedding day. Please know that special prayers and love to Terri and the entire family at this time, are being sent all the way from Virginia. We will also be donating to help with expenses. Our love and prayers to you all. Kristin Witham and family
