Pictures of Enzo's Memorial Service

On October 6, 2010, 6-month old Enzo was in a car accident with his parents and older brother and sister. Almost 48 hours later, he went home to be with Jesus. This blog is run by his family members and is our way of sharing our grief and hope with everyone who cares to visit. We rejoice in knowing that one day we will be reunited with Enzo in eternity! If you would like to contact us, you can email us at InMemoryofEnzo@gmail.com (not case-sensitive).

In the loving arms of Jesus

Greetings loved ones.

Friday evening at 6:01 p.m., Enzo passed from this life into the next, from the arms of his mother, into the arms of his creator in Heaven. We all miss him terribly already, but we know that he is having a party like we could never imagine on this earth. We are so very happy for him and yet so very grieved that we cannot be with him anymore. But for those who believe in Jesus Christ, we will see Enzo one day again soon and look forward to that day with eager anticipation.

Here is a great article on the roller coaster of the last 24 hours for us: http://www.kitsapsun.com/news/2010/oct/08/6-month-old-bremerton-boy-dies-from-injuries-in/?partner=popular

Our family has received literally THOUSANDS of calls, letters, messages, offers, etc from friends and strangers alike. Kitsap County seems to be abuzz with the story of lil Zo's death and we are so humbly honored at the outpouring of love and generosity by everyone. THANK YOU to all for your prayers and support.

There are two ways you can donate to help Kate and her family recover funeral, medical and other costs: You can make a donation at any Kitsap Federal Credit Union location to THE WILLIAMS FUND; or you can simply click on the "donate" button at the top right hand of this page and use any credit card. Of course 100% of proceeds go directly to the Williams Family.

I (Zo's auntie) have just arrived in Washington (I live in Colorado Springs, CO) and therefore will now be able to update this more frequently. Our second sister lives here locally, our third sister has flown in from Detroit, and numerous other family members are arriving as well.

Grace and Peace,
Melissa

  10. "And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you." ‎1 Peter 5:10

My heart hurts for you & your family. I pray that your sister and brother-in-law may find the strength they need to get through the coming days and years as they adjust to a new life they did not ask for. Much love to you all.

  14. It is times like these we see the arms of Jesus reach out to us through His family. I am hurting for your loss. Each day I will pray for the family as your hearts hurt for what you once held physically and now have entrusted to Jesus.

  15. May the Lord bless you and keep you in His loving arms as you travel the hard road ahead. Your baby is free and flies with him. I am profoundly sorry for your loss and amazed at the strength and dignity with which you have endured this awful tragedy. I wish you peace in your hearts and the sure knowledge that you will see your little man again. Peace be with you.

  16. Words alone can not explain the saddened heart I feel for you and your family. Although Enzo was here for such a short time, his tragic end has brought so many together through love and compassion. Inspiring to say the least, how many people, in Christ or not, can go through life saying they have touched so many people? I do pray that God will show you and your family (and the community) soon the good that will come from what seems a sinceless tragedy. Sending much love and prayers!

  17. I am truly sorry that this has happened. I have been following the posts and reports since they started. I would like to extend my support in the helping of this grieving family. May your God and my Goddesses carry Enzo to a safe place. He is no longer suffering and will be watching you all. I am saddened that he was so young and only on this Earth far a short time, but I am happy that he is safe and at peace now with those that protect us every day. May the grace of all the Gods and Goddesses watch over you in this time. Many of my friends throughout the nation will be praying for you to have strength and peace in his passing. He was called home by the higher powers. As a month of an infant it hurts to hear that another mother is having to bury her baby. There are a few songs that I think might help.

  18. My family is sorry to hear of your family's loss of such a precious child. Are family knows exactly how it feels to lose a child and our hearts and prayers go out to your family.

During my time of grief I have leaned on the Lord and the prayers of those around me, as well as, scriptures and words of encouragement. One scripture that has laid heavy on my heart is Hebrews 10:35-36
"35 So do not throw away this confident trust in the Lord. Remember the great reward it brings you! 36 Patient endurance is what you need now, so that you will continue to do God’s will. Then you will receive all that he has promised."

I kept this close in my mind because this is what I felt God was telling me. I felt that He did not want me to give up on Him because of my hurt and pain of losing my son. This may not be true for your family but I did want to share this with you. You can stop by my blog if you would like to see it.

  19. Oh, Enzo! Did you know that you brought together the hearts of thousands of people who never knew you? I am terribly sorry this horrendous accident happened to you and my heart is broken for your mommy and daddy and your whole family. Though they know you are in the amazing and loving arms of the Lord, it is unimaginably painful to let you go to Him. I am praying for them now. You, sweet child, will not be forgotten.

  20. no words could ever say what goes through peoples hearts as they hear the story. Even those that did not know them felt closer to them as they prayed... and as the news came in last night i cried for you because as I look at my own child I could only imagine your pain... I am still praying that your family heals and never forgets.
